SCO ruan musicians share the spotlight in this concert, aptly titled Ruan Harmonies. Watch Lo Chai Xia tackle the formidably challenging Impromptu, by Chinese composer Liu Xing. Marvel at Koh Min Hui’s interpretation of Chen Wen Jie’s melodious Distant Song. Let Cheng Tzu Ting entertain you in Autumn, a composition by her mentor Chen Yi Chien. Finally, enjoy Jing Po and her Yangqin and Xiao colleagues’ sublime performance in Ode to the Flowing Waters. Ruan Harmonies, with its depiction of different moods, is the perfect platform to showcase the expressive power of the Ruan.
