Journey to Mongolia concert DVD showcases the performance by cello musician Qin Li-Wei and matouqin musician Mai La Su. The blend of traditional Mongolian instrument Matouqin with modern Cello, will bring a new spark to the performance under the baton of Music Director TsungYeh. Huami, or the art of throat singing, where different tones are produced by human voices, will be performed by Mai La Su. Inspired by the rugged wilderness of Mongolia, the repertoires include Tang Jian Ping’s Gallant Steed, Tang Jian Ping’s The Origin, Wang Qiang’sGadaMeilin and Tang Jian Ping’s Genghis Khan Capriccio.
