Singapore, 16 December 2019 (Monday) – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) collaborates with Mediacorp Radio Capital 95.8FM DJs yet again, to present this annual favourite Chinese New Year concert Rhapsodies of Spring. Conducted by by SCO Music Director, Tsung Yeh, the two-night concert will be held on 10 & 11 January 2020 (Friday & Saturday), 8pm at SCO Concert Hall.
Singapore Chinese Orchestra will perform festive pieces to welcome the Chinese New Year, which will include audience’s all-time favourite Li Huanzhi’s Spring Festival Overture and Spring Festival Medley, arranged by Sim Boon Yew. To usher in the Year of Rat, SCO will also be presenting The Rodent’s Wedding, composed by Cheng Da Zhao.
