Singapore, 23 July 2012 (Monday) – The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) kickstarts the 2012/2013 concert season’s first Outdoor Rhapsody at Singapore’s favourite park, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, on 5 August 2012. Admission is free!

SCO Associate Conductor Quek Ling Kiong and Conducting Assistant Moses Gay En Hui will lead the orchestra to bring you an evening of folk music such as Eric Watson’s Amazing Grace, Irish Folk Music Medley, Kuan Nai Chung’s Rainy Day from Four Season of Taiwan, Liu Wen Jin’s Jasmine, Law Wai Lun & Tan Kah Yong’s Grasslands Fantasia and Sim Boon Yew’s Melodies Singapura.

Come with your family, friends and your picnic baskets and have an enjoyable evening with us at the Singapore Botanic Gardens!
