Singapore, 25 July 2012 (Wednesday) – Deutsche Bank – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) Lunchtime Concert Series 2012 will return to One Raffles Quay for its third instalment to provide lunchtime music-tainment to the Raffles Place workforce on 8 Aug 2012, Wednesday. This lunchtime concert series is conceptualized after four seasons. After January’s spring-themed and March’s summer-themed performance, this third performance will welcome autumn with a selection of plucked-strings classics. The concert venue is sponsored by Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM).
SCO Associate Conductor Quek Ling Kiong will lead the SCO ensemble with evergreen classics such as The Flowing Stream, Shan Ge, Arabesque, Herb Song, San Liu, and the selection from Latin American Dance Song, Tango Romance. Admission is free so do join us with your lunchboxes!
