Singapore, 2 October 2012 (Tuesday) – The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO)’s Outdoor Rhapsody returns to the Singapore Botanic Gardens on 21 October (Sunday), 6pm. SCO Associate Conductor Quek Ling Kiong conducts. Admission is free.
Quek Ling Kiong will lead the orchestra to perform an evening of three classic western and Chinese dance and theatre orchestral suites – Tchaikovsky’s renowned The Nutcracker Suite, Wu Zu Qiang and Du Ming Xin’s Suite of the Mermaid and a symphonic piece The White-haired Girl Suite.
