Singapore, 4 January 2013 (Friday) – The Deutsche Bank – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) Lunchtime Concert Series 2013 continues after the well-received concerts in 2012. The new series of lunchtime concerts in 2013 will return to One Raffles Quay to provide lunchtime music-tainment to the Raffles Place workforce. The Deutsche Bank – SCO Lunchtime Concert Series is sponsored by Deutsche Bank Singapore. The concert venue is sponsored by the Raffles Quay Asset Management.
In anticipation of the lunar new year, SCO’s newly appointed Resident Conductor Quek Ling Kiong will lead the SCO ensemble in a programme of new year favourites such as Melodies of Spring, Spring Song, Celebrating the New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai, Gong Xi Gong Xi, Xi Yang Yang, A Happy Year, Dance of the Golden Snake and The Return of Spring. Pack your lunch and join the SCO in the festive season!
