Singapore, 5 June 2013 (Wednesday) – Deutsche Bank – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) Lunchtime Concert Series 2012 will return to One Raffles Quay for its second instalment to provide lunchtime music-tainment to the Raffles Place workforce on 26 June 2013 (Wednesday). The concert venue is sponsored by the Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM).
SCO Resident Conductor Quek Ling Kiong will lead the SCO ensemble with a string of light-hearted pieces including Xi’an drum music Tiger Bracing for Attack, Kevin Tuck’s Tribal Beat Sound System, Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Swans, Lim Kiong Pin’s Dark Sky Blues, James Campbell’s Batik, Kitaro’s Matsuri, An Zhi Shun’s Squabbling Duck and J.S. Bach’s Air. Admission is free so join us with your lunch pack!
