Singapore, 1 October 2013 (Tuesday) – After successfully staging the inaugural 2,400-member orchestral concert Our People Our Music in 2004, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) is set to hold its biggest show yet!

The highly anticipated Our People Our Music 2014 concert returns on 28th June 2014 to celebrate yet another breathtaking performance. Themed “Our Home, Singapore!” and choreographed by SCO’s Music Director Tsung Yeh, the concert programme is made up of pieces that represent “Nostalgia”, “Dream”, “Drive”, “Future”, “Energy” and “PossibiCity” to showcase the love and best wishes of the people for Singapore.

Featuring a 4,000-member orchestra, Our People Our Music 2014 will also be the first arts and cultural performance to christen the newly-built National Stadium, Singapore Sports Hub. SCO Patron, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, will grace this momentous event as Guest-of-Honour. SCO will attempt to break the Guinness World Records and Singapore Book of Records through this mega concert.

Our People Our Music 2014 is organized by SCO and supported by the National Arts Council, Ministry of Education, Singapore Sports Council and People’s Association Singapore.
