Singapore, 4 October 2013 (Friday) – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO)’s next Campus Rhapsody will be staged at the Nanyang Technology University on 21 October, Monday, at 6pm. The concert is conducted by Resident Conductor Quek Ling Kiong and Young Conductor-in-Residence Moses Gay. Admission is free! Join us for an evening of music treats!
SCO will perform favorite western classics and evergreen Chinese music pieces including Bizet’s Carmen Suite and Farandole, Johannes Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5, Leroy Anderson’s Fiddle Faddle, Super Mario Brothers Theme Medley, Huang Hai Huai’s Horse Racing, Rousing Clouds Chasing the Moon, Nocturnal Peace and Rock 2002. You will also get to hear Malay folksong Yarkaiyin Kaatchhi and renowned Japanese composer Kitaro’s Matsuri.
