Singapore, 23 March 2017 (Thursday) – Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) will return to the Singapore Botanic Gardens Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage with “Music Oasis” concert on 15 April 2017 (Saturday), 6pm. Admission is free.
Under the baton of SCO assistant conductor Moses Gay, SCO will perform a programme of themes of cultural heritage elements around the world such as folk music, a cultural activity, for audience’s imagination as they listen to the music. SCO will perform pieces including Kuan Nai-chung’s Bumper Harvest Worship, Third movement: Tarap from Simon Kong Su Leong’s award-winning piece Izpirazione II, Eric Watson’s Mahjong Kakis, The Ceilidh, arrangement by Sim Boon Yew’s Melodic Potpourri and Liong Kit Yeng’s Lion City Street Opera.
Spend the relaxing Saturday weekend at the lawn and enjoy great melodic tunes by SCO.
