SCO is proud to collaborate with the Composers Society of Singapore to perform the opening concert of the 31st Asian Composers League (ACL) Festival and Conference 2013. The theme for this year’s festival is Multiculturalism in Asian Contemporary Music. In this concert, SCO will present an evening of the best new contemporary works by six Asian composers from Singapore as well as across Asia.

The ACL is the most vibrant and active contemporary music organization in the Asia-Pacific region today. It was established in 1973 to promote, preserve, and develop the musical cultures of the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in music composition
