The Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra is set to dazzle as they showcase their musical flair in pieces including Flying Asparas, A Life’s Journey and The Legend of the Dragon. SYCO’s dizi principal Ho Bing Hong will perform dizi concerto Lan Hua Hua, while SYCO’s ruan and pipa principal Megan Tan will play zhongruan concerto Reminiscences of Yunnan. The finale will be a massive combined orchestra of the SYCO and the SCO in Chen Ning Chi’s Hometown and Local Lands. Watch sparks fly in this combined teacher-student performance!
