ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER (AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE)
Job Responsibilities
- Ticketing and Sales Operations
- Oversee ticketing operations for concerts and events, including ticket configuration, sales monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with the marketing and programming teams to support ticket sales campaigns and optimise attendance.
- Manage ticketing platforms to ensure a seamless customer journey across online and on-site sales.
- Support collaboration with corporate, community, and cultural partners on ticketing initiatives and promotions.
- Perform front-of-house duty at concerts and events (to ensure smooth audience operations.
- Drive and manage group ticket bookings with educational institutions, arts groups and community organisations to meet ticket revenue goals
- Friends of SCO (FSCO) Membership
- Develop and implement strategies to grow, engage, and retain FSCO members.
- Plan and manage membership programmes, including member-exclusive events, benefits, and communications.
- Oversee membership registrations, renewals, and patron relationship management.
- Track and analyse membership data and engagement metrics to strengthen audience loyalty
- Customer Experience
- Manage customer enquiries and post-concert feedback
- Ensure high standards of service, responsiveness and audience satisfaction across all touchpoints
- Work with the Marketing Communications team to support wider marketing and communications activities when required
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in ticketing, audience development, membership management, or customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience managing ticketing systems and event sales operations will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage patrons, partners and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong project management abilities.
- Good verbal and written skills in both spoken English and Chinese for working with English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- A proactive team player who can work independently, takes initiatives, with an eye for details.
- Passion for the performing arts and cultural sector
- Willing to work weekday evenings and weekends for front-of-house duty during concerts and events

FULL-TIME CONCERT PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (STAGING/SOUND/LIGHTING/VISUAL & MEDIA)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and strike of audio, video, lighting, stage equipment, and musical instruments according to production requirements.
- Assist with loading, un-loading of stage logistics, props, scenery, instruments, and technical equipment.
- Provide standby support during rehearsals, sound checks, and live performances, including cue execution and stage movements.
- Provide logistical and backstage support for rehearsals, concerts, performances, and hirer events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and staging issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Operate equipment (only trained or experienced) and perform rigging tasks in compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Conduct routine servicing and minor repairs of technical and instrument equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in production planning, including work scheduling, equipment servicing, maintenance coordination, and resource deployment.
- Collaborate with stage managers, performers, and the production crew members to ensure smooth show execution.
- Work closely with the Head of Concert Production to support and achieve production objectives.
Job Requirements
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, Live Sound Production, Theatre, Audio/Visual/Sound Engineering, or related fields. Candidates with N’ or O’ Levels and at least 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
- Proficient in setup, strike, and operation of:
- Audio systems (e.g., consoles, speakers, microphones)
- Video systems (e.g., consoles, projectors)
- Lighting systems (e.g., consoles, fixtures)
- Stage equipment (e.g., risers, rigging, trusses)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; able to collaborate across departments.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficient in English, with basic understanding of Chinese to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Familiarity with live production systems, technical equipment, and theatrical terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and layout diagrams (e.g., Vectorworks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Possession of Work-at-Height, Manlift, or MEWP licenses is advantageous but not required.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Able to work in the evenings, on weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Able to lift heavy equipment and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Passionate about live entertainment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
