This October, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra brings an evening of live music to Bukit Merah View, led by Associate Conductor Lien Boon Hua.

In collaboration with the Henderson-Dawson Citizen Consultative Committee, this community concert features a thoughtfully curated programme that celebrates the richness of Chinese orchestral music through a blend of traditional classics and local favourites. Audiences can look forward to the The General’s Command, Dance of the Yao Tribe,  Liang Wern Fook Medley and more, with each work reflecting Singapore’s multicultural heritage and shared memories.

Adding a special touch to the evening, SCO dizi musicians Ng Wei Xuan and Hu Wen-Hsun will perform The Roof, a nostalgic piece that brings warmth through the expressive sound of the dizi.
