Singapore, 5 May 2022 (Thursday) – For the first time, Mapletree Investments (“Mapletree” or “the Group”) is presenting a live performance at VivoCity Amphitheatre by Singapore Chinese Orchestra (“SCO”). The concert, which will feature more than 30 musicians on stage, is titled SCO Goes To VivoCity. It will be held at the mall’s open-air Amphitheatre on 28 May 2022, 7.30pm.
Mr Edmund Cheng, Mapletree Chairman, said: “We are excited to welcome SCO to VivoCity in a live performance. This concert is part of Mapletree’s corporate social responsibility efforts to enrich the lives of both young and old through gift of music.”
Mr Terence Ho, SCO Executive Director, said: “This is also the first time since the pandemic that we finally get the chance to perform in a destination mall like VivoCity. By bringing the beauty of Chinese music to the community, we look forward to working closely with Mapletree in the near future.”

Journey down memory lane with Singapore Chinese Orchestra as they go to VivoCity this May!
Proudly presented by Mapletree, the concert will bring you a potpourri of classic hits and melodies of yesteryear that are bound to tug at your heartstrings. Under the baton of SCO Associate Conductor, Moses Gay, revel in a diverse repertoire of nostalgic tunes, including familiar favourites, “Thunder Storm and Drought” 《旱天雷》, “The Past Can Only be Remembered” 《往事只能回味》 and “Nocturne to Victoria Harbour” 《维港夜曲》.
Tickets to the concert are available for purchase via Peatix. The concert will run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on 28 May 2022, at the VivoCity Amphitheatre. Although the concert is free seating, individuals are to refrain from intermingling and are required to be fully vaccinated except for children under 12 years old.
The concert is suitable for adults and children aged 4 and above.
