    The Night of Bowed Strings concert is curated by SCO Concertmaster and Strings Section Leader Li Baoshun, and presented by the SCO bowed string section, under the artistic direction of Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong. With the cello and double bass musicians playing Desiring Intimacy with gravitas, and the entire bowed string section pouring their hearts into Defending the Yellow River from Yellow River Capriccio, the concert is set to be a colourful extravaganza where passions run high!

    Rating / Age Limit

    • No admission for infants in arms and children below 6 years old, even with a ticket.*
    • Children 6 years and above must purchase a ticket for entry. No admission without a valid ticket.
    • Please bring along proof of child’s age, such as a student concession pass, as random checks may be conducted at the venue.
    • We reserve the right to ask parents to bring children out of the hall should they be disruptive during the performance.

    *Except Young Children Concert: children under 6 years old will be allowed admission to this concert. Ticket required for all ages, with the exception of infant in arms.


    Late Seating Advisory

    • Please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
    • There will be no admission into the venue once the performance has commenced.
    • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.
