How much of the erhu’s voice lies in its bridge? This hands-on workshop explores how subtle adjustments to the erhu bridge shape tone, resonance, and response, helping each instrument achieve greater clarity and balance.
Led by an experienced erhu craftsman, the session combines demonstration and guided practice. Participants will learn how bridge shape, height, and contact points influence sound, and refine their own bridges through careful filing and sanding. Limited seats available.
Participants are required to bring their own erhu. Erhu bridges, filing tools, and sandpaper will be provided by SCO.
